Girls’ Day | Girl power at VMI

Today, VMI gladly welcomed an enthusiastic group of girls from the 2nd year High School – RSG in Epe.

After a brief introduction to VMI’s business processes, it was time for action. The girls rolled up their sleeves and experienced technology firsthand by creating a project. Female VMI colleagues provided the girls with personal explanations at their workstations. The morning of technology concluded with a quiz, and the girls received a fun goodie bag featuring a Girl Power bank! VMI is proud to contribute to Girls’ Day by offering girls an up-close experience of the undiscovered world of STEM, technology, and IT.

Girls’ Day is meant to introduce girls between the ages of 10 and 15 to STEM, engineering and IT. It is important that girls get a broad and realistic picture of STEM, engineering and IT companies and their professions and get to know their female employees.
