Roefelday 2017
Equipped with safety shoes, a group of students of the secondary school RSG N.O.-Veluwe in Epe, started a short factory tour on “Roefel” Day. This is a Flemish word, which means, investigate, discover or look around. “Roefel” Day offers children of secondary schools in the region, the opportunity to take a look “behind the scenes”.
VMI finds it important for young children to be brought into contact with technology, to learn how fun technology can be and to see the vocational possibilities in it. Therefore, VMI opened its doors for these young students. After the short tour, the students were able to make a small work piece, to experience how it is to manufacture something by yourself.
